In April 2001 Lisa A. Raterman left her position as Executive Director of a local nonprofit organization to start her own company. Since that time she has worked with a number of nonprofit clients on their fundraising events. LARaterman Associates’ motto was “Increasing Nonprofit Revenue through Special Events.”
However, in the summer of 2005 LARaterman Associates announced the addition of 5 new Associates who will assist with all aspects of managing an organization, such as Fund Development (capital campaigns, grant writing, individual and corporate donor development), Board Development, Data mining and Analysis and general operational issues such as budgeting and staffing. This will allow them to work with their nonprofit clients on all aspects of their organizational management, not only their special events.
